FULL (over 20)

Fees: £40

Benefits : Personal accident (cover ceases at 75) & civil liability insurance cover; the Sword magazine.

Competition: All relevant British and International events including County and Regional events, Winton Cup and all Open events.

Voting: Notices of general meetings, the right to vote at general meetings and the right to vote in ballots for election of directors.

JUNIOR MEMBER (Over 13 but Under 20)

Fees: £30

Benefits: Personal accident cover (cover limited for under 16) & civil liability insurance cover; the Sword magazine; attend BFA/WF courses and obtain BFA awards.

Competition: All relevant British and International events including County and Regional events, Winton Cup and all Open events, plus all relevant age group events at County and Regional competitions. British Age Group Championships & Public School Championships including U20 Championships.

Voting: Where over 18, notices of general meetings, the right to vote at general meetings and the right to vote in ballots for election of directors.

MUSKETEER MEMBER (Under 13)

Fees: £25

Benefits: Personal accident (limited cover) & civil liability insurance cover: attend WF/BFA courses and obtain BFA award, the Sword magazines.

Competition: County & Regional events, British Age Group Championships, relevant age group events and Public Schools Championships.

Voting: none.

SENIOR (over 60)

Fees: £30

Benefits : Personal accident (cover ceases at 75) & civil liability insurance cover; the Sword magazine.

Competition: All relevant British and International events including County and Regional events, Winton Cup and all Open events.

Voting: Notices of general meetings, the right to vote at general meetings and the right to vote in ballots for election of directors.

SOCIAL MEMBER

Fees: £10

Benefits: Solely to provide insurance cover for fencing at any venue within nominated Welsh registered club. Downgrading for members in any other category is permitted.

Competition: Members allowed to participate in one local competition per membership year.

Voting: none.

LIFE (HONORARY) members

At the discretion of the Directors, members whom the Directors wish to honour may be granted Life (Honorary) membership.

Benefits : Personal accident (cover ceases at 75) & civil liability insurance cover; the Sword magazine.

Competition: All relevant British and International events including County and Regional events, Winton Cup and all Open events.

Voting: Notices of general meetings, the right to vote at general meetings and the right to vote in ballots for election of directors.

Membership Upgrades

Upgrades from one class of membership to another during the membership year are possible but will involve some additional cost. In order to upgrade, you must renew your membership at the new level for 12 months from the date you wish to upgrade.

The unexpired portion of your old membership grade is lost.
