It is with sadness that I have to report that Gareth Edwards has passed away.
An active member of Wrexham Fencing Club, he was a regular visitor to Cardiff for all the youth events. He was always enthusiastic and helpful to everyone, and will be missed by all who knew him. I will certainly remember him with fondness.
The Board send their condolences to his family.
If anyone wants to send a condolence card, please contact me for the address.
It is with sadness that we have to report the passing of Eric Howlett. Eric was 94 and had been in poor health for a short time. Fellow coaches, particularly from Mid/North Wales will have many happy memories of Eric's friendship and contribution to fencing.
Numbers slightly down on last year, but the competition was tightly fought throughout, with only a few points separating the top few players.
1st Adrian Stoneman (Cardiff)
2nd William Meredith-Davies (Cardiff)
3rd Krystof Gibbon (Cardiff)
Highest placed Opp. Sex Sue Ko (HMSG)
